If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your course enrollment, we are here to help with our comprehensive refund policy.

Course Returns and Eligibility

We accept refund requests within 14 days from the date of course enrollment. To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • Your refund request must be submitted within 14 days of your initial course enrollment date.
  • You must have attended less than 25% of the total scheduled lessons or completed less than 25% of the course content.
  • The course must not have been significantly accessed or utilized beyond the trial period.
  • All course materials downloaded or accessed must be in their original, unmodified condition.

Refund Process

Once we receive your refund request and verify your eligibility, we will notify you of the status within 2-3 business days. If your refund is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment according to the following terms:

  • Refunds will be processed to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
  • The refund amount will exclude any payment processing fees incurred during the initial transaction (typically 2-3% of the course fee).
  • If you used a promotional discount or coupon, the refund will be calculated based on the discounted amount you actually paid.
  • Bank transfer fees or international transaction fees are non-refundable.

Course Exchanges and Transfers

If you would like to exchange your current course enrollment for a different course, teacher, or schedule, please contact our student support team within 7 days of your initial enrollment. We will be happy to assist you with:

  • Transferring to a different language course of equal or lower value.
  • Switching to a different teacher or class schedule (subject to availability).
  • Moving from group classes to private lessons or vice versa.
  • Upgrading to a higher-tier course (additional payment may be required).

Note: Course transfers are subject to teacher availability and course capacity. Price differences may apply when transferring to higher-priced courses or premium services.

Non-Refundable Items and Services

Certain items and services are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include:

  • Gift certificates and vouchers - Once purchased, these cannot be refunded for cash.
  • Downloadable course materials - Including PDFs, audio files, and digital resources that have been accessed.
  • Personalized or custom-made lesson plans - Specially designed courses created for individual student needs.
  • Completed courses - Courses where you have attended more than 25% of lessons or accessed more than 25% of content.
  • Certification fees - Separate charges for official language proficiency certificates.
  • One-on-one consultation sessions - Individual assessment or counseling sessions that have been completed.

Technical Issues and Service Interruptions

In the unfortunate event that you experience significant technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing your course, or if there are service interruptions on our platform, please contact us immediately. We will work to resolve the issue promptly and may offer:

  • Extended course access to compensate for lost time.
  • Additional one-on-one support sessions at no extra cost.
  • Full or partial refund if the technical issues cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Course transfer to alternative delivery methods (recorded lessons, different platform, etc.).

Teacher-Related Issues

If you experience issues with your assigned teacher that significantly impact your learning experience, we offer the following solutions:

  • Teacher replacement - We can assign you to a different qualified teacher at no additional cost.
  • Course credit - Compensation for missed or unsatisfactory lessons through additional sessions.
  • Partial refund - For lessons that did not meet our quality standards (subject to review).

Cancellations by Speak Global Academy

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or reschedule courses due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases:

  • Full refund - Complete reimbursement if we cannot provide an suitable alternative.
  • Course transfer - Priority enrollment in the next available session of the same course.
  • Alternative course - Option to join a similar course of equal or greater value at no additional cost.
  • Credit voucher - Course credit that can be used for future enrollments with extended validity.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds and exchanges will be processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and approve your request. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider and bank processing times:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 3-10 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 2-5 business days
  • Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • International Payments: 5-15 business days
